CHELTENHAM & DISTRICT CRICKET
ASSOCIATION 09 June 2010
Dear Ian,
With the new season now well under way, we thank you very much
for your continued support of our activities in promoting the
great game of cricket in the local area.
This year we have more clubs in membership of the Association,
and – what is particularly pleasing - more junior teams
preparing the cricketer of the future, and it is only with the
tremendous support that we receive from yourselves and others
that we are able to sustain this development of the game.
The C&G Cladding Under 13 League this year in fact has two
divisions, with a total of 15 teams, one league playing traditional
11-a side 20- over games and the other using the Lords Taverners
8-a-side rules. Both leagues are now approaching their sixth
round of matches, culminating – weather permitting –
in late July.
Yours sincerely
Malcolm Brown
(Hon Tresurer) |
